Our goal is to encourage women within our UBC to share, support and learn from each other’s experiences, use that knowledge to grow both personally and professionally, and become more actively involved at all levels. Sisters in the Brotherhood is important to the future of our union, because we are the leaders, ambassadors and role models, who promote union carpentry as a career for more women. Members Our members represent a wide range of skilled trades, represented by the Carpenters Union: Carpenters, Millwrights, Stair Builders, Lathers, Bridge and Dock Carpenters, Divers, Pile Drivers, Wood and Resilient Floor Layers, Carpet Installers, Shinglers, Siders, Insulators, Acoustic and Drywall Installers, Show, Display and Exhibition Workers, Terrazo Finishers, Granite Cutters, Mill Cabinet, and all those who are represented by the UBC, that may not be listed here.
